Based on information you input, this tool applies purchase of service rules to calculate your estimated cost for that period. The District of Columbia Retirement Board has no liability or obligation, either legal or equitable, to utilize the output because of using this calculator.
This calculator has been provided solely to assist you with deciding if the cost of a Military Purchase of Service is reasonable for you to consider prior to requesting a final retirement calculation from DCRB, where your actual employment records will be verified. Your final certified prior Military purchase cost will be determined by DCRB and communicated to you through correspondence from DCRB.
Note:To perform this calculation you will need a copy of your Earning Statement from Military Service. If there is a conflict between this calculation and the Plan, the Plan takes precedence.
